MEDITATION & STILLNESS

Meditation, or stillness can influence your state of mind, which will in turn affect your body, helping with anxiety, sadness, blood pressure, sleep, digestion and breathing. The dedicated practice of being present and connecting within can influence thinking and over time, can change brain activity and the subjective and objective experiences in the world.

Meditation, like prayer, is not about getting answers, it is about finding Oneness within, which we do by connecting to the core of our being. Everything we need is found in the present moment, information comes to us from being, not from seeking. Coming back to self is returning to God/Source or Oneness with all that is.

There is no right way to meditate, it is easy for some, and hard for others.  Try focusing on a scene from nature and sit happily in that space until your mind and body switch off and go into stillness. It is there you will find a connection with the soul and achieve oneness, which once tapped into, can become very addictive.

When you reach grace you are in real connection, everything else is ego

Sit in a state of grace, stillness or meditation, whatever works for you.  Let all your thoughts and visions subside.  The most powerful aspect is not what you do, but about finding a state of grace, which sits in the silence and stillness of our being.  Aim to be still a few minutes a day to find true connection within.

Regular practice will help you into knowing, connect to your heart and help you find unshakable inner peace.  If you struggle to concentrate, hyper-focus on one part of the body, such as a thumbnail where it meets a forefinger, or where your tongue sits against a tooth. Hyper-focusing on one thing will automatically switch up your consciousness and help you connect more fully.

Find silence in this space and sit in yourself.  Let consciousness express itself through you.  Remain present and keep any stray thoughts at bay.  If you can't switch your thoughts off, observe them from a higher perspective and smile at them, they have nothing important to say and will only take you out of the present moment and all there is.
