Balance is achieved when we are in a state of equilibrium and harmony. Staying balanced in this world is a form of mastery!


Balance is one of the ultimate goals of the spiritual journey and a concept we understand in the context of physical health, but it’s also extremely vital for our mental and emotional well-being and an important part of spiritual practice.


When we are in balance, we are at peace


Being in balance helps us cope with the stresses of life, provides resilience to bounce back from any setbacks. It also stops us from getting knocked around by our emotions and fluctuations in energy. Change is happening through us, not to us.  By rebalancing, we are bringing balance to the whole which positively impacts everything.


Create harmony within by balancing emotions and aiming for physical, mental and emotional alignment.  A balanced diet will give your body the fuel it needs to function properly.  A balanced mind keeps your mood and energy at optimum levels and balanced sleep helps us to function properly, be less irritable and more grounded.


When we are out of balance, we may experience several symptoms, such as feeling stressed or scattered, anxiety, depression, tiredness or burnout, which if unaddressed, can lead to distorted behaviour that tips us further out of balance. Maintaining balance is not always achievable in our busy lives, but it’s essential to strive for, as balance provides a solid foundation for healing and growth to take place.
