AFFIRMATION

Affirmations act like mini pep talks for the mind to get out of negative patterns
Art by Jaquamarine

An affirmation or mantra acts like a mini pep talk by repeating an empowering statement to boost confidence and bring positivity from speaking out loud a set of simple statements to self.

Affirmations can overwrite negative thought patterns

When we use affirmations or positive self-talk, we can overwrite or offset any negative thoughts or sabotaging behaviours that may be keeping us stuck in lower frequencies.

Used as a tool for healing, self-affirmations are a simple way we can reprogram our brain.  A simple message such as ‘I am worthy’ or ‘I can do this’ can get us out of analysis paralysis and into task completion, by sending a powerful message that alters the brain response and the subconscious accepts as truth.

Using affirmations or mantras can positively lift vibration, impact mood, boost confidence and self-esteem, as well as overwrite any negative moods by elevating our mindset.

We can address certain chakras through targeted commands, eg:  I AM is the Root chakra command. I FEEL commands Sacral. I HAVE/I DO connects to Solar Plexus, I LOVE is the heart command, I SPEAK for the throat chakra, I SEE speaks to the third eye and I KNOW is the crown chakra command.

Aim to talk positively to yourself each day.  Before jumping out of bed, aim to set the tone of each day through affirmations or mantras or get into a routine when you are cleaning your teeth or getting ready.

Focussed positively helps rewire our brains and impacts us mentally and physically and lifts our frequency.
